Sou Brette's newest collection Unknown Waters is inspired by the 1953 Russian film Sadko (released in the United States with the script adapted by a young Francis Ford Coppola) and the work of a realist painter, Ilya Repin, titled "Sadko in The Underwater Kingdom".
The story of Sadko is based on a Russian mythology, about a musician and traveller, who travels to the sea and the underwater kingdom to seek and bring happiness to the people in his city.
Sou Brette's Unknown Waters will be previewed for the first time at Brightspot Market at Plaza Indonesia Extension July 8th-11th 2010. Also included is a special colorway made only for Brightspot. The full range of jewelry will be available in stores starting September 2010.
